Major Paul Adee
Major Paul Adee is the Division Commander for Jail Division I, which encompasses all inmate support services. He oversees and is responsible for the management of inmate medical care, food service, laundry, mail, canteen services, and transportation.
Major Adee began his detention career in 1988 with the Winnebago County Sheriff's Department in Rockford, Illinois. He moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1990 and began his career with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office in 1991. During his 26 year detention career, Major Adee worked as a deputy and in various supervisory positions within all Hillsborough County detention facilities. He also served in leadership and management capacities as the Detention Training Sergeant, Transportion Bureau Commander, Judicial Protection Bureau Commander, and the Deputy Division Commander for Jail Division II.
Major Adee served his country honorably and is a veteran of the United States Navy. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Saint Leo University where he graduated with honors. He also attended the Southern Police Institute's Command Officer's Development Course.
Major Adee has been married for 26 years. He has two adult children and two grandchildren.
