Suspect confronts employees and demands Oxycodone while displaying a knife.
White male, mid 30’s to early 40’s, 6’ – 6’3”, 210 – 230 lbs, large build, medium complexion and short brown hair.
The suspect was last seen wearing a dark color baseball cap or visor with a Buccaneer emblem on the front, sunglasses, gray Buccaneers Super Bowl t-shirt, camouflage shorts and brown flip flop type sandals.
He was armed with a folding pocket knife.
Mazda, late 80’s or early 90’s model, gray in color, 4 door and bent tag.
On April 7, 2010 at approximately 7:07 p.m., the suspect entered the Publix Store located at 1930 Highway 60 East in Valrico. He then walked behind the pharmacy counter, confronted two employees with a pocket knife and demanded Oxycodone. The suspect then escorted the pharmacist to the cabinet containing the Oxycodone and removed the pills. He then fled the store to the parking lot and entered the above described vehicle.
