UPDATE: Suspects Knock On Apartment Door And Barge In
Deputies believe a drug connection may have caused the death of one resident and one suspect being shot.

Suspect, Michael Crossno was released from Tampa General Hospital on April 21, 2010 where he was taken into custody and then booked into the Hillsborough County Jail on Second Degree Murder with a Firearm and Armed Burglary charges.
On April 1, 2010 the suspect and another identified subject went to the victim’s apartment and knocked on the door several times. The victim opened the door and the suspect grabbed him by the neck while armed with a handgun and pointing it at the victim. A guest (Kyle Wolfman, DOB 12-20-89), who was visiting with the victim and his girlfriend armed himself with a shotgun while within the apartment. Mr. Wolfman fearing for the safety of the victim fired the shotgun and struck the suspect in the upper torso area. The suspect was then transported to Tampa General Hospital. The victim (resident) was shot by his guest as well and died as s result of his injuries at the scene.
The investigation continues and there are no other charges at this time.

Second suspect is described as either a light skin Black male or Hispanic male, wearing all red clothing.
At approximately 10:49 p.m. deputies responded to a shooting at "The Estates" apartment complex. It appears that the victim along with two other individuals (a male and female) were inside the apartment when the two suspects knocked on the door and forced their way into the apartment. There were shots fired which struck the victim, Michael Daniels and one of the suspects, Michael Crossno. Daniels died at the scene as a result of his injuries. Suspect, Crossno was transported to Tampa General Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
Detectives believe that the incident is possibly drug related as it appears that the victim’s apartment was the specific target and that drug paraphernalia was discovered inside the apartment.
