Hillsborough County Sheriff’s detectives are asking for help in identifying two burglars who were caught in the act by a residential surveillance camera.
The burglary occurred on April 15, 2010 shortly before 11 a.m. at a house on U.S. Highway 39 South in Lithia in southeastern Hillsborough County.
The two suspects arrived in a silver 2002 Audi A4 and approach the front door of the residence. Both suspects are wearing black gloves. One of the suspects uses a tool to smash the living room window. The suspects ransacked the interior but did not steal anything. They left through a rear door.
Both suspects are believed to be in their late teens to early 20s; one is black, the other Hispanic.
