Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office awarded two vehicles in Law Enforcement Challenge.
Earlier this year, the combined traffic units of the four patrol districts along with “3D” DUI Enforcement Squad participated in the Florida Law Enforcement Challenge (FLEC). The FLEC is an annual contest sponsored by the Florida Department of Transportation in which agencies from across the state compete in a variety of traffic enforcement related categories including DUI sustained enforcement, the “Click-It” or “Ticket” seatbelt enforcement campaign and the “Motor Unit Challenge” for sustained traffic enforcement. As a result of Sheriff’s Office efforts, Hillsborough County won first place in each of the categories entered.
First place win in the “3D” unit was awarded a 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe.
First place in “Click It or Ticket” campaign each team was awarded a chance to win a vehicle by drawing a key out a box and HCSO picked the correct key and were awarded a 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe.
