Suspect wanted in connection with the robberies of the Papa John's Pizza & Subway Restaurant has been arrested.

On Monday, August 16, 2010 at 9:00 p.m., the Subway Restaurant located at 8625 Citrus Park Drive was robbed by a subject who was armed with a pistol and concealing his identity with a stocking mask. On Wednesday, August 18, 2010 a similarly described subject robbed the Papa John’s Pizza Restaurant located a 7891 Gunn Highway in the same manner. On Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 9:23 p.m. a confidential adult female victim was accosted and robbed at gunpoint by what appeared to be the same suspect who also attempted to sexually batter the victim.
Detectives gained leads and forensic evidence which allowed them to gain a search warrant for the suspect’s residence at 8810 Charlie Walker Road, where further evidence and the suspect were located. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with all three of these crimes.
The location of the third crime along with that victim’s identity will not be released due to the nature of the crime.
