Here's how team effort at the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office led to the arrest of three burglary suspects:

Communication Bureau/Dispatchers: Around 2 p.m. on February 11, 2010, a citizen called 911 to report a burglary in progress by two males at 9519 Amberdale Court. Dispatchers immediately notified patrol units.

Patrol: Deputies arrived on the scene and located one suspect sitting in the driver's seat of a blue Saturn Ion parked near the scene of the crime. The suspect told deputies she was waiting on her sister to arrive on the school bus. The female suspect was detained, and other deputies checked the inside of the condominium for additional suspects, then began a search of the area.

Canine Section: Deputy Jimmy Dixon and his dog Alex were summoned to search for the suspects. Alex, a 20-month-old German shepherd/Belgian malinois, began to track the suspects from the condo to a wooded area that led to Interstate 75 near Bloomingdale Avenue. (Note: Alex is a brand new member of the Sheriff's Office, and this was his first official on-duty track to lead to an arrest).

Aviation: One of our helicopters was put into action to scout the area for suspects. Deputy Dixon had Aviation check the Interstate, and the helicopter pilots - Deputy John Kirk and Deputy Bob Templeman - soon spotted the two male suspects walking along the interstate. Patrol deputies arrived and took them into custody.

The investigation determined that the suspects had also burglarized two other condominiums in the development on Feb. 11. Deputies recovered stolen property that included jewelry, a cellular telephone, a Gameboy,  and a jar of coins and keys. In addition, the female suspect was wearing a stolen pair of diamond and gold stud earrings. She gave those to a deputy. Also, a man's gold ring was recovered from a burglary in January 2010. The ring burglary remains under investigation.

Lewis Anthony was charged with burglary (3 counts); grand theft (2 counts); criminal mischief (3 counts); contributing to the delinquency of a minor (3 counts). He was taken to the Orient Road Jail.

Isaac Wilson was charged with burglary (3 counts); grand theft (2 counts); criminal mischief (3 counts). He was taken to the Juvenile Assessment Center.

Kimberly Fleer was charged with burglary (3 counts); grand theft (2 counts); criminal mischief (3 counts). She was taken to the Juvenile Assessment Center.
