    Victim:

    3-month-old female

At approximately 12:45 p.m. today, deputies responded to the Plantation Palms Apartments reference a 3 month old that had been left in a vehicle (Jeep SUV) in the parking lot of the apartment complex. A maintenance worker at the apartment complex discovered the child concealed under blankets in the vehicle. The worker was able to gain entry to the vehicle by forcing a window down. The window was only down approximately 1 inch. According to witnesses the child was left in the vehicle for 1 to 1 ½ hours before being discovered.   After deputies were at the scene and Fire Rescue responded to medically evaluate the child, Yeadon returned to the vehicle.

Deputies investigating the incident discovered that Latosha Yeadon had made arrangements via the internet to meet with a male at the apartment complex for the purpose of prostitution.   She left the child in the vehicle while in the apartment with the male. We are not releasing the males name as he is being considered a witness.

Yeadon was taken into custody at the scene. The child was transported to Brandon Regional Hospital where she is listed in stable condition.
