Hillsborough County detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the two individuals seen in the surveillance video. On May 15, 2010, the two suspects entered the Macy’s department store and one suspect expressed interest in a man’s ring (valued at $3,200). The sales clerk removed the ring from the display case and handed it to the suspect. After a few minutes of looking at the ring, he returned it to the clerk. He then asked to see it again so that he could take a photo of it with his cell phone. The second suspect then takes the ring and flees from the store.
