All four suspects are described as black males, 18-20 years of age, thin – medium build, 5' 8”– 6’0", 140 – 160 lbs., wearing black t-shirts with masks or t-shirts covering their faces. Three of the suspects were wearing shorts that were below the knees and one suspect was wearing long jeans.
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two armed robberies that occurred on May 26, 2010 during the early morning hours.
On May 26, 2010, at approximately 12:14 a.m. the 7–11 store located at 9817 Highway 301 South in Gibsonton was robbed by 4 black male suspects armed with semi-auto pistols. Approximately fourteen minutes later, the same group of suspects committed a second robbery at the 7-11 store located at 7711 Causeway Blvd. in Tampa. During the robberies two of the suspects were armed with semi-auto pistols. Two of the suspects had their faces covered with t-shirts and the other two were wearing masks, possibly a hockey mask and a Halloween mask. (See video). During the robberies the suspects repeatedly threatened the clerks with their weapons and took an undisclosed amount of money and lottery tickets. The suspects fled from both locations on foot.
