Hillsborough County Sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals captured on surveillance video. The suspects entered the Metro PCS Store on March 20, 2010 at approximately 6:32 p.m. where one suspect jumped over the counter and forced the two victims to the floor and asked where the money was, while pointing a gun at them. The second suspect (also believed to be armed) went to the back of the store looking for the register. One of the victims was finally able to get the register under the counter open and the suspects removed the money and another victim’s cell phone. The taller suspect stuffed the money into his pockets and then both suspects fled the store.
Anyone with any information reference this robbery is asked to contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office at 247-8200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-8477.
