On November 30, 2011 robbery suspect Robert Hubbard was taken into custody in the area of University Mall and arrested without incident. Detectives had received information as to Hubbards possible whereabouts. While detectives were interviewing the suspect he confessed to robbing a second bank today. That robbery took place at the RNC Bank 1788 South Tamiami Trail in Venice, Florida. The investigation with Hubbard continues and other charges are pending in connection with some thefts that Hubbard is believed to be responsible for in Hillsborough County and the City of Tampa.

Hillsborough detectives have issued a warrant for Robert Hubbard in connection with the bank robbery that occurred on November 28, 2011 at the Fifth Third Bank located at 13001 North Dale Mabry Highway.
The suspect entered the bank, presented a demand note to the teller and after receiving an undisclosed amount of currency, the suspect fled the bank. The suspect fled in a 2001 Ford Taurus that has been recovered.
