Detectives are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect in the surveillance photos.
- Black male
- 18 – 22 years of age
- 5’7” – 5’9”
- 130 lbs, thin build
- Last seen wearing a blue and purple New Orleans Hornets ball cap, black t-shirt, orange or red wristband on his left wrist, white or light silver basketball shorts with red or black stripes down the sides, black tennis shoes with white soles and laces.
- Armed with a handgun.
- Late model four door vehicle
- White in color
- Possibly a Ford Focus, Chevy Malibu or Chevy Impala
Hillsborough County detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in the surveillance photo. In each of the robberies, the suspect entered the store, selected a drink and bag of chips. He then approached the cashier to pay for the items and when the cashier opened the register, the suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of currency the suspect fled on foot and then entered the above described vehicle.
The first incident occurred at 2:03 a.m. July 10, 2011 at the Circle K. Store located at 5133 State Road 674, Wimauma. The second incident occurred at 2:36 a.m. on July 10, 2011 at the Circle K Store located 10520 U.S. Highway 39 South, Lithia.
