Hillsborough County Detectives provided information leading to the arrest of James Williams in Arkansas.

Williams was arrested at 1:30 p.m. (July 13, 2011) in Little Rock, Arkansas by U.S. Marshals. Based on information from Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office detectives, Williams was located at the Peabody Hotel in Little Rock, Arkansas. He will be booked into the Pulaski County Jail in Arkansas.
On July 1, 2011, personal trainer James Williams, was arrested for one count sexual battery on a female client.
The sexual battery occurred on June 27, 2011 at Williams’ place of business, Club Tone, 5038 Linebaugh Avenue, Tampa. The victim, an adult female, told detectives that she hired Williams as a personal trainer and met him at his studio that morning. During a personal training session the victim was sexually battered.
On July 2, 2011 Williams posted a $50,500 bond and was released from the county jail.
Since that time, a second adult female victim has come forward with the same allegations against Williams. As a result of the investigation Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office detectives have issued a warrant for the arrest of James Elbert Williams III for two counts of Sexual Battery.
Detectives are asking for anyone who has had contact with the suspect and believes they may be a victim of a crime to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 814-247-8200.
