Another family feud leaves one brother hospitalized with a gunshot wound.

On June 28, 2011, at 4:33 a.m., deputies responded to 7039 Drury Street in Tampa after James White called 911 and advised he shot his brother.
When deputies arrived, they found Travis White suffering from a single gunshot wound to the upper leg. Fire Rescue transported White to St. Joseph’s Hospital. White underwent surgery and remains listed in stable condition.
The investigation has revealed that the two brothers were involved in a physical altercation over family matters when James White allegedly pulled a .40 caliber handgun and shot his brother Travis once in the upper leg.
James White remained on the scene until deputies arrived. He refused to make a statement. Upon completion of the investigation, detectives arrested James White and booked him into the Hillsborough County Jail where he remains with no bond.
