Man approaches 12-year-old victim at bus stop.

White male, 30 – 40 years of age, 6’0”, 190 lbs., medium build. Short reddish colored hair and short beard. Wearing brown and blue shirt and blue jeans.
Older “box” style medium sized car, unknown make and model, silver or gray in color with multiple rust spots.
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an attempt abduction that occurred on March 8, 2011 between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. The victim was waiting for the school bus at Orange Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. when an unknown white male pulled up near the bus stop, exited his vehicle, approached the victim and asked her to get into his car. The suspect did not touch the victim. The victim immediately ran to a nearby friend’s residence. The suspect returned to his vehicle and fled westbound on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
