Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Hosting The Second Annual Florida Marine Intelligence Unit
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting the second annual Florida Marine Intelligence Unit meeting on November 8th – 10th, 2011. The event will be held at the Little Harbor Resort and Club in Ruskin. Over 125 Florida law enforcement officers assigned to various marine units throughout the state are expected to come together for three days of unique training. Training will cover a wide variety of topics such as intelligence on vessel theft, human trafficking, and latest assets in the law enforcement marine world, boating regulations and compliance as well as briefing on the Republican National Convention.
Opening ceremony will be Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. beginning with opening remarks by Sheriff David Gee, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard and Chaplain.
