Detectives have last laugh on comic who robbed same bank twice this week.

Today, for the second time this week, the same suspect identified as Jeffery Brent Lluis entered the SunTrust Bank at 5370 Ehrlich Rd. in Citrus Park and demanded money from the teller. He was given an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot from the bank.
On November 08, 2011, at approximately 1026 hrs., Lluis went in the Suntrust Bank located at 5370 Ehrlich Rd. and implied that he would "blow the bank up unless he was given money". He put the teller in fear and fled on foot after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash. SEE HCSO PRESS RELEASE 11-378
During the investigation Lluis's name was discussed among detectives who had knowledge that Lluis had been arrested in the past for a 2007 robbery of the Bank Atlantic, 12951 N Dale Mabry Hwy in Tampa and was on probation with the Florida Department of Corrections.
On November 09, 2011, Detective Jason Himmel visited Jeffrey Lluis at his home and saw that Lluis was a very good match in appearance and physical characteristics of the person who robbed the SunTrust Bank on 11/08/11.
On November 10, 2011 at approximately 09:35 a.m., Jeffrey Lluis again entered the Suntrust Bank and again demanded money from the teller. He was given an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot from the bank. A witness saw Lluis fleeing in a car that was similar in appearance to the one Detective J. Himmel observed at Lluis’s home on November 09, 2011.
Jeffrey Lluis who was positively identified in a lineup by two of the bank employees as the person that committed both bank robberies.
Jeffrey Lluis is known as a local stand up comedian that works in the Tampa area.
