96 year old female
This morning (August 28, 2012) at approximately 5:30 a.m. the defendant rang the ninety six year old victim's doorbell. The defendant advised the victim that he had her newspaper (which he used as a ruse). The defendant is known to the victim. Upon the victim opening her door, the defendant immediately battered her via pushing her onto a couch. The defendant illegally made entrance into the victim's residence via the front door. Once inside the residence, the defendant undressed himself and ripped off a portion of the victim's clothing. The defendant then proceeded to touch the victim in a sexual manner. The defendant then changed his mind and fled out the front door. The victim called the Sheriff's Office and the suspect was apprehended by Sheriff's Office detectives. The defendant admitted to the offense. While being taken into custody the suspect attempted to flee from detectives and struggled in an attempt to avoid arrest.
