On June 10, 2012 at 6:15 p.m., the suspect entered the Chevron gas station, 10920 U.S. Hwy 41 South in Gibsonton, wearing a blue stocking over his head and face, armed with a double-barreled shotgun. He demanded money from the clerk, fired one round into the ceiling and then pointed the shotgun at the clerk again. The clerk complied with his demands and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money. Detectives have identified the suspect as Keyodist K. Patterson, DOB 08/20/80. A warrant has been issued for Patteron’s arrest for armed robbery, armed kidnapping, and discharging a firearm in public.
