At approximately 12:57 p.m. today, July 21, 2012 the Sheriff's Office received a call from Teah Coward stating that the suspect had engaged her in a physical altercation and took their child. The suspect grabbed the victim by the neck and attempted to strangle her, hit her multiple times and would not let her leave her apartment. Reginald Levison also took her cell phone thus preventing her from calling for help and he then took their 7 week son and fled in Teah's vehicle, a 2007 Sebring, red in color with Florida tag A E N C 6 3.

Prior to leaving, Levison made threats that he might possible harm the child and any law enforcement that attempted to apprehend him. He stated that he would not go back to prison.  Reginald Levison has multiple arrests.

At approximately 8:20 p.m. on July 21, 2012 missing 7 week old Jaelin Levison was recovered. Suspect Reginald Levison gave the child to his sister, who in turn notified Sheriff’s Office deputies. The baby was fine and was reunited with his mother.
