Miles Elementary School
317 124th Avenue E
On June 6, 2012 at approximately 5:13 a.m. deputies responded to a delayed criminal mischief at Miles Elementary located at 317 124th Avenue E in Tampa. School maintenance discovered the damage when they arrived at the school the morning of June 6. The damage occurred some time between Tuesday, June 5 at 10:00 p.m. and Wednesday, June 6 at 5:00 a.m. The unknown suspects destroyed two water fountains, several large potted plants, a metal bench, burned a poster on the wall, stole and discharged a fire extinguisher on the school grounds. The unknown suspects then entered two school buses and damaged the mirrors and vandalized the interior. The vandals caused approximately $5,000 worth of damage.
