Woman charged with robbery.
2448 78th Street South
On November 4, 2012 at approximately 9:01 p.m., the suspect entered the 7-Eleven store located at 7711 Causeway Boulevard. The suspect, Angel Molina, approached the clerk at the cash register and demanded money with the threat of an implied firearm. Molina attempted to conceal herself with a hooded sweatshirt and stocking over her face. Molina received an undetermined amount of money and fled the scene in a southward direction on foot.
A subject was observed by a deputy walking east of the incident scene in a nearby neighborhood as he was en route to the scene; however, her appearance was altered as she had discarded the sweatshirt. As the deputy received a more detailed description of the suspect, the deputy recalled specific identifications he noticed about the subject. The deputy returned to the area to find the subject still in the area.
The suspect was positively identified by the witness. Molina was arrested and charged without incident. Molina cooperated and admitted to the offense.
