Detectives are trying to identify the suspects seen in surveillance photos.
- Black Male, 5’10” – 6’, 180-200 lbs. Medium Build. Last seen wearing a black tank shirt, blue jeans and blue boxers and white athletic shoes.
- Black Male, 5’09” – 5’11”, 170-190 lbs. Medium Build. Last seen wearing a long black t-shirt, brown cargo shorts, tan work boots, and black flat bill cap with design on it.
Suspect Vehicle Used In Armed Robbery:
- Late 1990’s to early 2000’s, 2-dr, red in color with tinted windows, spoiler in rear and sunroof. Right front tire appears to be different than the right rear tire without rims.
- Black Male, Thin Build. Last seen wearing a white tank top
On September 8, 2012, at approximately 1:30 a.m., the victim left the Hard Rock Casino. The victim got turned around and found himself on an unfamiliar roadway on his way back to St. Petersburg. Shortly afterward, a red in color type sedan vehicle stopped in the middle of the road where one of the occupants exited and approached the victim. The suspect produced a firearm, pointed it at the victim, demanded and obtained his wallet and cell phone.
The suspects attempted to use the victim’s credit cards at several locations throughout Hillsborough County. Two suspects are seen in surveillance video from Walmart located at 5220 Dale Mabry Hwy North.
Two additional suspects are seen in surveillance video from Grow Financial Federal Credit Union located at 5250 Busch Boulevard E attempting to use the victim’s credit card.
