    Two High School Seniors Arrested

    Brownies and cookies tested positive for marijuana.

    Details:

    As a result of an anonymous tip, the School Resource Deputy at Wharton High School made two arrests of 17 year old 12th grade students for possession/delivery of marijuana on school grounds. The deputy learned that the students were attempting to sell items that were laced with marijuana

    The first student, Christopher Lanigan was found in possession of two individually wrapped brownies that tested positive for marijuana. And the second student, Nicholas Rodas was found in possession of 5 individually wrapped cookies that each tested positive for marijuana.

    The incidents occurred during normal school hours and it is unknown if the suspects sold any items prior to arrest.
