Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an armed business robbery that occurred at approximately 3:39 a.m. on September 5, 2012 at the Mobil Convenience Store located at 2510 Highway 60 East in Valrico. Two unknown suspects approached the clerk at the outside kiosk of the store. They brandished handguns and demanded money from the clerk. After learning the register was empty, the suspects battered the clerk and fled northwest on foot from the scene. The clerk suffered a laceration on the side of his head and he was treated at the scene.
