The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a Town Hall meeting at the new Freddie Solomon Community Center located at 4805 East Sligh Avenue in Tampa on August 28, 2013 at 6:30 p.m.
Major Burton will bring the citizens of the Nuccio area up to date on law enforcement issues such as the “Eye on Crime” cameras in the area, continued efforts which started during the summer to clean up the neighborhood and traffic related issues.
A representative from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay will be there to speak about special programs that will be offered through the club.
Dee Solomon, widow of Freddie Solomon, will be there to speak about her new role as the Director of Community Outreach. Dee will be assigned to the Freddie Solomon Community Center where she will be instrumental in assisting citizens of that area with special programs such as literacy programs, senior programs, health and wellness programs as well as helping to create family structure for those in need.
