This year's event will begin with a Tampa Bay area coalition of emergency first responders escorting a very special guest, "Santa Claus" to the students of Robles Elementary School located at 4405 E. Sligh Avenue in Tampa.Santa has scheduled his arrival for Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 8:45 a.m. Once Santa arrives, he will be giving out gifts and will read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" to the elementary children.

None of this would be possible without our community support and our partners from the business and private sectors.

Since 1987, more than one-hundred thousand "at risk" and underprivileged children in the Tampa Bay area have received toys and clothing through "Sincerely Santa".

Each year, students write letters to Santa, describing what they want most for Christmas. Teachers notate additional information including: special needs of the child, clothing sizes, and siblings the child may have in the home. The teachers then select letters of the most needy children and forward them to Sincerely Santa for processing.

The "Letter to Santa" is reviewed by Sincerely Santa Elfs and displayed at Westfield Brandon Mall as well as distributed to our many corporate partners. Mall shoppers, corporate employees, civic organizations and places of worship are asked to become a sponsor by selecting a letter or letters and purchase gifts based on the child's need.

Once the gifts are acquired, local fire departments and law enforcement agencies deliver them to child's home in time for Christmas.
