On February 15, 2013, deputies responded to 106 Chapman Road in Plant City in response to a domestic dispute. The arrestee, Randy Lee Lisenby, was involved in an argument with a woman inside the house. She wanted him out of her house because of his drug use. He escalated the confrontation by grabbing a bottle of lighter fluid, and started splashing it around the west side exit door.
The woman's two toddler children were standing nearby, and were splashed by the fluid. He said he was going to burn down the trailer. The woman took the children to the neighbor. Meanwhile, Linsenby burned a rug, and blankets in the children's bedroom.
He barricaded himself in the trailer when deputies arrived. He stated that he was going to burn down the trailer, and die inside. He was seen lighting paper inside the trailer where he had splashed the lighter fluid earlier. He was coaxed out of the trailer by deputies at the seen. Hillsborough County Fire Investigator and State Fire Marshall responded to further the arson investigation. The Child Protective Services was notified of this incident. He was charged with 2 counts of Child Abuse, 1 count Aggravated Assault, and 1 count of Felony Arson.
