    Details:

On January 7, 2013 at 9:15 a.m., HCSO deputies responded to a residential burglary in-progress at 17610 Willow Pond Drive. The complainant stated that two, black male suspects had kicked in the door of the home and upon seeing the home owner, both suspects fled in a red Mustang. Deputies came in contact with the suspects at the on-ramp of I-275 N at Bearss Avenue and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The suspects refused to stop and continued onto I-275 N into Pasco County. With the help of HCSO Aviation, deputies were able to track down the suspect vehicle near the Ashley Furniture HomeStore, 26222 Golden Maple Road, in Wesley Chapel. HCSO Aviation tracked the suspects running onto I-75N to hide under the SR-56 overpass. Deputies responded and arrested both suspects without further incidents with the help of Pasco deputies. Both suspects were found with jewelry on them and several items were found during the initial search of the vehicle. These items are not from this morning's burglary at 17610 Willow Pond Drive, but detectives are looking into other homes in the area that may have been targeted. Detectives are still trying to ascertain ownership of the suspect vehicle.

Grier and Sampson were booked into the Pasco County Jail. The investigation continues.
