Kobe Joseph Brantley

On February 02, 2013, deputies arrested Kobe Joseph Brantley for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault, shooting at or into a building and felon in possession of a firearm.
Patrol District 3, Intelligence Led Policing Unit identified Brantley as prolific criminal offender. The sixteen year old had a criminal history for grand theft, burglary of an occupied dwelling, armed burglary of a dwelling, burglary conveyance, trespass and violation of probation.
Detectives with the Special Investigation Division contacted the Hillsborough County State Attorney's Office (SAO) and requested the case be sent to adult court due to Brantley's prior history and current charges.
The request was granted and Brantley was transferred from a juvenile facility to the Hillsborough County Jail with no bond.
Over the next several months detectives assigned as State Attorney Office liaisons continued to work closely with prosecutors and track Brantley's various court dates.
On June 04, 2013, Brantley decided to plead guilty and was sentenced to six years in Florida State Prison.
