Details:
On March 10, 2013, at approximately 11:50 p.m. the defendant woke up and was going to the kitchen for a drink. He then observed his wife having sexual intercourse in the living room with the victim. The suspect retrieved a firearm from his bedroom and shot the victim multiple times. The victim died as a result of the shooting. The defendant then called 911 and notified Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office dispatchers he had just shot a man he saw “fornicating” with his wife. Post Miranda the defendant confessed to shooting the victim. The victim died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The defendant’s 42 year old wife was not injured.
The suspect waited at the scene for deputies to arrive and was taken into custody without incident.
