On March 12, 2013, detectives with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s District Four General Offense Section and the District Intelligence Unit continued an investigation into residential burglaries where safes were pried within the Apollo Beach, Ruskin and Sun City Center communities. Detectives identified 27 year old, Nicholas Zadravec. Information was developed on Zadravec that works at a pool cleaning company “Lawn and Pool Rescue.” Zadravec while out on routine pool cleaning calls would burglarize residences in the area of his route. He did not burglarize any of his customer’s residences. Detectives estimate the amount of jewelry, guns and electronics stolen during the past year to be in excess of one million dollars. A large quantity of jewelry was recovered by detectives as well as some electronic equipment. Detectives are in the process of returning the stolen property to its rightful owners. Zadravec was charged with several counts of armed burglary, grand theft, and dealing in stolen property with additional charges pending.
