    Suspect Sees Himself On The News And Turns Himself In

    Suspect also brought the stolen laptop to the jail and turned it over to detectives.

    Update:

    Late this afternoon, Oscar Lawrence turned himself in at the Orient Road Jail after he spotted himself on the news carrying a stolen laptop out of a Valrico Wal-Mart. Lawrence also brought the stolen laptop to the jail and turned it over to detectives.

    The female suspect, who acted as the lookout, has not been charged pending further investigation.

    • Grand Theft

    Suspects:
     

    1. black male, 22-29 years old, 5'9" to 6'3" 240 to 260 lbs, dread locks, last seen wearing white t-shirt and black shorts

    2. black female, 22-29 years old, 5'5" - 5'11", 220 to 240 lbs, long black hair, last seen wearing a blue and black dress
     

    Details:

    Just before 8 am, on October 10, 2013 a unidentified male and female suspect entered the Wal-Mart, 1208 Brandon Blvd in Valrico. The female suspect acted as a lookout while the male suspect used a pair of scissors to pry open a display case holding laptop computers.

    The male suspect then removed a HP laptop from the display case and both  suspects exited the store without paying for it. Both suspects fled in a green 4 door vehicle, possibly a 2004 Mercury Sable.

    Anyone with any information regarding the suspect's identities is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 247-8200 or anyone who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS
