SafetyNet Team Locates Missing Adult Within 45 Minutes Of Activation

Missing Endangered Adult:

On November 21, 2013, missing endangered adult Earnest Sampson walked away from his residence. Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office was notified and discovered that Sampson is a SafetyNet client. HCSO Members of the SafetyNet responded to the area and conducted a ground search as well as aviation. Deputy Oquendo picked up Sampson signal in the area of Brandon Blvd and Pauls Drive. SafetyNet members converged and Sampson was recovered without incident in the parking lot of 1102 Brandon Blvd. West. The approximately recovery time was 45 minutes and the distance from Sampson’s residence to the location where he was recovered is approximately 3.5 miles.
