HCSO detectives shut down marijuana grow house in a Seminole Heights home.

On October 1, 2013, detectives in the HCSO Special Investigation Division, Tactical Intelligence Team along with HCSO Patrol District 3 deputies responded to 7215 N. Duncan Ave Tampa after an anonymous tipster contacted Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay and gave details of marijuana grow operation. Detectives obtained consent to search the residence and located two bedrooms converted for the sole purpose of cultivating marijuana. Detectives seized twenty-two (22) marijuana plants as well as loose marijuana which totaled 46.7 pounds, along with thirteen (13) lights and ballasts. The street value of the marijuana is approximately $50,000.
TECO responded and located an illegal tap providing un-metered electricity to the residence. Millares who lives alone at the residence, was booked into the Orient Road Jail where he is being held without bond.
The investigation continues.
