On September 12, 2013 at around 10:00 p.m., an adult female and a 13-year-old male were asleep inside of the residence located at 11200 Tucker Rd. in Riverview. The female awoke to a male suspect hovering over her bed. The suspect placed a cover over the victim's head, tied her up with a rope and took her into the living room. One of the suspects then went into the room where the 13-year-old male was sleeping and tied him up. They dragged the teen into the living room as well. There, the victims and suspects waited for approximately two hours for the adult male that lives at the home to arrive. When the adult male arrived at the home, the suspects struck him in the head with an object and tied him up. At that time, the suspects ransacked the house for money and left the scene in the victim's 2002 silver Chevy Astro van with missing headlights. One of the victims was able to untie themselves and call 911 at approximately 12:06 a.m. Deputies responded to the home and set up a perimeter in an attempt to locate the suspects. Aviation assisted in the search, but was unable to locate the suspects. At this time the suspects remain at large. The adult male was treated on scene for the lacerations on his head and the female and teen were uninjured. Detectives do not believe this was a random act.
