    Charges:

    • Armed Robbery (3 counts)
    • Grand Theft (3 counts)

    Details:

On September 25, 2013, at approximately 1:00 a.m., three adult males stopped at the Publix parking lot 12026 Anderson Road in Tampa seeking shelter to get out of the rain. While sitting near the building, Angee and Hernandez rode up on bicycles and sat with the three men.

The suspects asked the victims for a cigarette and then both Angee and Hernandez pulled out replica semi-automatic handguns, which were later identified as pellet guns. Angee and Hernandez pointed the guns at the victims and demanded their wallets and cellphones. Both suspects then fled the scene on bicycles heading west on Cedar Creek Blvd with the victims' property.

Deputies responding to the call, spotted the suspects a short time later riding their bikes through Hunter's Run Apartment complex. Deputies apprehended and arrested Angee and Hernandez for the listed charges.

Once arrested, deputies found the men still had in their possession portions  of the victims' property and Angee was found carrying a pellet gun (replica semi-automatic handgun) he used in the robbery.

Detectives with the District III, Investigative Unit, responded and after further investigation, located two additional replica semi automatic firearms (pellet guns) along with the remaining victims' property the suspects stashed nearby after the robbery.

Both men were booked into the Hillsborough County Jail and are being held with no bond.
