    • Lewd and Lascivious Molestation (3 counts)

On April 4, 2014, deputies responded to the residence of Francisco Rios wanted on three counts of Lewd and Lascivious molestation.

In August of 2013, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office was notified reference a delayed sexual battery. The three female victims are 12, 17 and 43 years of age. Francisco Rios is the pastor of Casa De Amor Church located at 117 West Windhorst Road in Brandon where all the incidents occurred.

According to the victim, on approximately 15 different occasions beginning 2011, Francisco Rios touched 17-year-old victim inappropriately. Rios told the victim he was doing this because he loved her as a Pastor and she was not to tell anyone because he could get in trouble. In April of 2013, Rios touched the 43-year-old victim inappropriately. He convinced her it was a way to cure a medical condition. Approximately two times a week for the past year, Francisco touched the 12-year-old victim inappropriately.

The investigation was initiated after the three victims talked to each other and discovered that each of them had been touched by Rios.

Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office detectives conducted an investigation and conducted interviews. All of the findings were then direct filed with the State Attorneys Office. On April 4, 2014, Rios was picked up on the warrant issued by the State Attorney’s Office.

    The investigation continues.
