    Details:

On February 5, 2014, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office detectives began investigating new construction burglaries. Investigators were able to determine that Luis Richkarday-Nunez, owner of Quality Trim of Tampa and one of his workers, Joshua DeLeon-Oliva were subcontracted by KB Homes. The two suspects would work late and steal items from the homes that were under construction.

On February 6, 2014 detectives developed information that lead them to the suspects while they were in Gibsonton. The suspects were then taken into custody. Detectives then went to their mobile homes in the Davpam Mobile Home Park where detectives were given consent to search their mobile homes. Detectives discovered that the some of the stolen items such as granite counter tops, appliances, flooring, and molding were used to remodel Luis Richkarday-Nunez mobile home. K-B Homes sent representatives to uninstall/retrieve the stolen items.

It was learned that the mobile home of Joshua DeLeon-Oliva was being utilized as storage for the old items removed out of Nunez mobile home.

The investigation continues and other charges are pending.
