On August 12, 2015, deputies were circulating the Seffner area and found a vehicle matching the description of the vehicle used in the robberies. Deputies arrested the driver Brian Lockett for Driving While License/Suspended with Knowledge. Detectives responded to the traffic stop and began interviewing Mr. Lockett. He confessed to robbing the Citgo store on July 30 and August 8. Mr. Lockett was charged with 2 counts of Robbery w/Firearm.

Unknown male, 5'6”, - 5'10”, medium build, wearing all black clothes and a black t-shirt with white imprint over his head and face. Armed with an unknown make/caliber dark color semi-automatic pistol.
Dark color 2000 – 2006 Dodge Stratus, with a donut spare tire on the front passenger side.

On two occasions (July 30th and August 8th), the suspect entered the store, brandished a semi automatic pistol and demanded money from the clerk. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled on foot. In the August 8th robbery, the suspect had a waiting vehicle on Taylor Road, and fled in the what is believed to be a 2000-2006 dark color Dodge Stratus, with a donut spare on the front passenger side.
