On February 19, 2015 at 5:30 p.m., detectives from the SID Clandestine Laboratory Enforcement Team (CLET) assisted probation officers from the Florida Department of Corrections (FDOC). Detectives responded to 3501 Edwards Road to locate a possible meth lab. FDOC officers and detectives were searching a shed located on the property when they located a moonshine still under an overhang which was part of the shed. Detectives observed a red, plastic 50-gallon barrel which contained fermenting corn mash and strawberries. Detectives also located a white plastic barrel which contained a copper (worm) tubing. In addition, detectives located some meth lab making items, but did not find a operational lab on the property. Jones was arrested for VOP (x4), additional charges for the still are pending.
