On January 16, 2015, at approximately midnight, unknown suspects drove around the rear of the Target and Lowe's stores in a silver 4 door sedan. One of the suspects exited the vehicle and walked in front of the Lowe's store to the Target store. At approximately 00:12 hours, an unknown suspect broke the exit door to the Target store by throwing a block at the window and kicking same. Not gaining entry, the suspect moved to the Target Starbucks window and threw the block at the window. Shattering the window but not gaining entry, the suspect kicked the window approximately 10 times. The suspect gained entry and headed straight to the Target cash registers. The suspect pulled two cash registers off the shelves, smashing each. The suspect yanked the cash registers free from their wires and separated the cash drawers.
