Detectives discovered a portion of the garage to be converted for the sole purpose of cultivating marijuana.

On January 30, 2015, Detectives with the assistance of District Two patrol conducted a knock and talk at the above address in reference to information obtained from an out of state law enforcement agency regarding a possible indoor marijuana grow house at the location. After contact was made with the resident, detectives requested her identification which she re-entered the house to retrieve. While inside the residence, the suspect gathered multiple marijuana plants, placed them in a garbage bag and threw the bag over the fence of her back yard. Detectives recovered the plants and authored a search warrant for the residence. On inside the residence, detectives discovered a portion of the garage to be converted for the sole purpose of cultivating marijuana. Detectives located 449.8 grams of marijuana along with several items of drug paraphernalia as well as synthetic marijuana and one Alprazolam pill. Detectives arrested Rivera on the above charges.
