Aviation acquired the signal in just minutes after arriving.

On July 10, 2015 at approximately 8:00 p.m., deputies responded to 7467 Oxford Garden Circle in reference to missing endangered adult Florinda Gomez who suffers from Alzheimer's. SafetyNet team members were notified.
Aviation responded, picked up a team member and responded to the location as additional team members responded for a ground search. Concerned about losing daylight, a quick response by all was crucial. Aviation team members acquired the signal just minutes after arriving and ground units were quickly directed to the area of the signal. Ground units came in contact with a citizen who was with Gomez and was just about to drive her home.
Gomez had wandered on foot and was located about .9 miles from her home. She was in good health.
