2886 Somerset Park Drive
On June 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., deputies responded to a drowning at the Somerset Park Apartments located at 2886 Somerset Park Drive. Paramedics arrived and removed Kenson Gilles from the community pool and transported him to Florida Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. Gilles had been playing with his two young daughters in the shallow end of the pool, when he approached the deep end of the pool, lost his footing and went under. Gilles did not know how to swim.
