HCSO detectives are requesting the public's assistance in locating John Fabio Betancourt Jr. who currently has active arrest warrants for grand theft and resist arrest without violence.
On April 29, 2015 just before 4 pm, Betancourt entered the Walgreens located at 1011 Bloomingdale Ave and was seen putting numerous items inside a bag he was carrying and then exit the store without paying. Betancourt fled on foot when confronted by Walgreens personnel trying to detain him.
John Fabio Betancourt Jr. uses several aliases and has an extensive violent criminal history from New York, to include prison sentences for robbery. Betancourt has been recently connected to at least one residential and one commercial burglary and is believed to be in the Brandon/Riverview area with no known residential address.
