    Details:

    On May 6, 2015 the two defendants entered 11525 Bay Gardens Loop in Riverview by kicking open the front door. Defendant Joshua Benford (former boyfriend of the victim and father of the 12 week old) armed himself with a knife from the kitchen and held it to the victim's neck and detained the victim. The co-defendant Victoria Saucedo (Benford's new girlfriend) removed the 12-week-old female victim from the residence. The victim Monica Buzbee has lawful custody of the 12-week-old victim. Buzbee's 8 year son was home at the time of the incident. Joshua Benford is the biological father of the 12-week-old female.

    The defendants fled the residence with the 12-week-old victim. Deputies responded and issued an alert for the missing child. St. Petersburg Police located the defendants at 9:30 pm in the area of 2040 16th Street North. The defendants were arrested for Armed Burglary (Occupied Dwelling), Aggravated Battery w/Deadly Weapon, Kidnapping with Intent to Commit Felony, Interference w/Custody(absence of court order or custody) and Criminal Mischief. They were booked into the Pinellas County Jail.
