    The following information is preliminary details of today's events known at the time of this release and are subject to change as the investigation continues;

    Today at 3:19 pm, Cindy Carabeo walked  into the BB&T bank, 655 Brandon Boulevard in Brandon and presented a written note to a bank teller claiming to have a firearm and demanding cash. Carabeo was given an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the bank.

    At 3:35 pm, Carabeo walked into the Wells Fargo bank, 204 S. Kings Avenue in Brandon and presented a written note to a bank teller claiming to have a firearm and demanding cash. Carabeo was given an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the bank.

    At 3:43 pm, Cindy Carabeo walked into the Florida Central Credit Union, 334 Oakfield Drive in Brandon and presented a written note to a bank teller claiming to have a firearm and demanding cash. Carabeo was given an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the bank.

    Detectives at this point had pieced together enough information to identify the suspect's tag number that was registered to a 2004 Suzuki 4-door owned by Cindy Carabeo, 3442 Castlestone Court in Valrico.  It is an apartment complex at northeast corner of SR60/Mulrennan Road in Valrico.

    Several District 2 patrol deputies, a K9 deputy and detectives began searching near the suspect's home when they spotted Carabeo driving into the apartment complex where she was immediately apprehended.

    Bank representatives from each of the three banks positively identified Carabeo as the person who robbed their banks. Carabeo's vehicle was towed to the HCSO Crime Scene Section so it can be properly searched and processed for any evidence.

    The investigation continues.
