    Details:

On 05/13/15 at approximately 2:15 pm, Luis Serrano and Josh Correa were engaged in a road rage incident that began near the intersection of 301 Highway and Big Bend Road, when Serrano allegedly cut off Correa. Correa was by himself and Serrano had Haleigh Garrison as a passenger. Both vehicles later entered the Cypress Creek subdivision in Ruskin, Serrano was driving a black car and Correa driving a gray pickup truck. Serrano followed Correa to the house of Sean Tatum within the subdivision. Words were exchanged between the two and Serrano drove off in the car.

Serrano then went to a friend's house in the neighborhood, Majestic Waters. Serrano told Waters about the incident and they set out to locate Correa. Garrison began driving the black car at this point. They located the gray truck at Cypress Creek Boulevard and Orange Spring Drive. Luis Serrano and Majestic Waters exited the car and approached the truck.

Luis Serrano armed himself with a black pistol, pointed it at Sean Tatum, and pulled the trigger. The gun did not fire. He then pistol whipped Tatum, who did not need medical attention. Correa and Tatum retreated to the truck and locked themselves inside.

Luis Serrano and Majestic Waters then began to strike Josh Correa's vehicle with a trailer hitch causing over $1,000.00 in damage. Haleigh Garrison then rammed the front of Josh Correa's truck with her car, causing minor additional damage to the truck.

Majestic Waters, Luis Serrano and Haleigh Garrison fled into the neighborhood. Majestic Waters, Luis Serrano, and Haleigh Garrison were located and positively identified by Correa and Tatum. The pistol was determined to be an Airsoft pistol and was located in a garbage can at the residence of Luis Serrano. Luis Serrano was arrested and charged with Throwing a Deadly Missile into an Occupied Conveyance, Simple Battery, and Felony Criminal Mischief. During his arrest, he began to kick the window of the patrol vehicle where he was seated. Deputies attempted to further restrain Serrano to keep him from causing damage to the car and injuring himself. During this time he intentionally kicked a deputy, causing no injury. Luis Serrano was additionally charged with Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer.

Majestic Waters was charged with Felony Criminal Mischief and Possession of Marijuana. Haleigh Garrison was charged with Aggravated Battery with a Motor Vehicle.
